This Lucas Aerospace Company's fuel control is a Combined Acceleration and Scheduling Control(CASC). It controls the high pressure fuel pump output through variable metering orifices. It contains 2 governors. The Acceleration Governor controls the amount of fuel necessary to accel/decel the engine without stalling. The scheduling governor controls the fuel flow for the steady running of the engine.
