Woodward gave up on hydro governors and sold their turbine water wheel governor control business to the General Electric Company in the year 2000. What a big mistake that was!!! The American Governor Company was started to help service all the customer that still have Woodward hydro governors in operation. Google it for more data on the American Governor Company history.
