Back in 2012 when all the Point Special Lager Beer was brewed with corn grits before Gabe Hopkins changed the original lager recipe.

I think Management of the Stevens Point Brewery made a big mistake allowing the changing of the original Point Special Lager recipe. They went to an all-malt recipe and 100 percent of the corn grits in the recipe was eliminated in the brewing process. The brewery also changed the way they brewed the beer to a high gravity brewing process. Google"high gravity brewing". Remember when the Coca-Cola Company in 1985 introduced a new formula for its Coca-Cola soda and renamed it Coke ll. In 1992, and it was discontinued in July 2002.
