This is an experimental fuel control X42419 designed by the Woodward Governor Company for the Solar gas turbine engine in the 1970's. The Solar unit was a small portable engine and generator that was supposed to be portable enough for one or possibly 2 man carry. The governor system was designed by George Parker a Woodward engineer. The flyweight speed was approximately 14,000 rpm and the fuel control amount range from almost nothing to about 1 pound per hour.
