This type of small steam engine was installed in the Stevens Point Brewery's engine room. Today out of the 3 types of steam engines in the brewery, there is still a Vilter Manufacturing Company's two cylinder ammonia compressor engine that is used as a backup engine. This engine should be donated to the Portage County Historical Society's museum because it is so old and cool!
