This 1908 malt scale is connected to the Allis-Chalmers malt mill on the 3rd floor above this room.. The malt mill grinds out 200 pound of malt per minute and needs to be stopped manually next the the scale. In the year 2021 this scale is still in use. Talk about old school brewing!
