The Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company and the Pelton Water Wheel Company both manufactured their own design of the water wheel governor over the decades and in the end both company's came to Woodward and purchased many types of Woodward hydraulic water wheel governor systems. Too bad Woodward sold their Hydro business division to the General Electric Company. How dumb!!!
