The Woodward Governor Company only designed and manufactured hydro(water wheel) governors for the first 63 years of their business(1870-1931). In the U.S.A. Woodward hydro governors were in 55% of all the Hydroelectric Power Stations. Today the American Governor Company took over servicing old Woodward hydro governors. History in the making!
