The Woodward Governor Company had an exclusive governor manufacturing contract with the Hamilton Standard Company to manufacture all of the Hamilton Standard aircraft engine governor from the late 1930's through the 1950's. Over 400,000 Hamilton Standard aircraft engine governors were produced in the contract by Woodward. If you search the eBay website these vintage governors are still available to purchase.
