This picture shows the Woodward factory with water wheel governor components on the second floor machine shop area. The tallest stack of gears shown are called Crown gears that go into all the mechanical type water wheel governors made until 1931. Reference data is from the manual Directions for Connecting and Operating Vertical model governors compensating type(Fifth edition).
