The cork track roadbed has been installed. There will be four main line tracks on the railroad.

The previous model railroad did not have any cork track roadbed. The old track was just nailed down to the plywood. On the new layout, tracks will be installed on top of the new cork roadbed and will be ballasted and glued with gray granite rock ballast for a more realistic prototype look.
